This week, Beyond Yoga® opened the doors to its first-ever, permanent retail location, at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica.
Beyond Yoga is taking over the 4,000-square-foot former Levi’s® store there, giving the brand the opportunity to showcase its full category offerings for the first time, including active, lifestyle, maternity, extended sizing, men’s and even toddler leggings.
The store’s opening comes on the heels of the brand’s successful pop-up shop at The Grove in Los Angeles, where many loyal and new customers asked when Beyond Yoga would open a permanent space. Opening the first store in Los Angeles is a natural fit for the L.A.-founded, designed and manufactured brand and only further cements its roots in its hometown.
As customers walk through the doors, they are greeted by the brand’s expansive collection of products, which pop against the neutral background of the store. The store is purposefully soft — just like the brand’s signature leggings, tees and tanks — and features curved walls, archways and furniture reflecting the softness and strength of the brand’s buttery soft fabric. There are dedicated spaces to rest and re-energize, with chairs and couches that were designed in its signature Spacedye fabric.
Customers will receive a personalized shopping experience in-store, which is unique in the athleisure space. Starting October 3, shoppers can make individual appointments on beyondyoga.com, and if they are a repeat customer, products will be chosen ahead of time based on their buying history and preferred sizing. Customers will also be able to exchange online orders at the store.

One of the great benefits of opening in Los Angeles is partnering with other L.A.-founded and female-founded businesses. On Saturday, October 1, the brand will partner with local favorite Alfred coffee, and on Saturday, October 8, Bia Blooms will create custom bouquets as a gift with purchase.
