Dockers® 30th Anniversary Takes the Cake

We don’t know about you, but we think the best thing about birthdays is the cake. And when you’re celebrating a milestone birthday, just any old cake won’t do.
On Tuesday, the Dockers® brand got an extra sweet treat when Duff Goldman and his team from Charm City Cakes brought the most epic confection to our San Francisco headquarters to honor 30 years of khaki style.

Duff, whom you probably know from the Food Network’s Ace of Cakes and Cake Masters, created a sweeping San Francisco cityscape to honor the iconic brand’s three decades in the City by the Bay.
The celebration kicked off with a warm welcome from Dockers® Brand President Lisa Collier, who expressed her appreciation for all the hard work it has taken to get here.

“Everyone who played a part in the role of Dockers® over the past 30 years, tip up your glass and toast this amazing brand — because it’s not only about the brand, it’s about all the people who make this brand happen,” Lisa said.
Duff, who was sporting a custom khaki chef’s suit, pointed out some of the highlights of the cake, including figures wearing Dockers® product, a smokestack that actually blew smoke, a moving crane and sea lions.

This was all recorded as part of an hour-long Cake Masters episode dedicated to the Dockers® brand’s birthday and how this amazing cake came to life. The show will premiere during the upcoming season of Cake Masters.
