When it comes to Levi Strauss & Co. store doors – our business is Open to All.

We remain committed to the nationwide “Open to All” public engagement campaign, which aims to build awareness and understanding about the importance of protecting people from discrimination. We were among the first companies to sign the pledge and heartily welcome those who have signed on since.

Today, the Open to All coalition consists of more than 5,000 businesses and 200 civil rights and racial justice organizations; LGBTQ organizations and community centers; health advocates, disability advocates and faith organizations; and other groups working to protect and strengthen our nation’s nondiscrimination protections.

As the campaign points out, no one should have to worry about whether they will be denied service or face hostility as they go about their daily lives. Yet far too often, we hear stories of discrimination. That’s why leading businesses like LS&Co. and others across the country are joining together to oppose discrimination and declare that we are Open to All regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion or disability.

“Now more than ever, it is imperative that businesses let it be known that they are indeed Open to All,” said Chip Bergh, LS&Co. president and CEO. “Over the years, Levi Strauss & Co. has thrived thanks to the contributions and support of an incredibly diverse group of employees, consumers, cultural icons and brand ambassadors. That’s what being Open to All is all about – engaging with communities of all kinds. It is central to our story, central to our industry’s story, and central to our country’s story, and it must remain so into the future.”
