Are you an entrepreneur building your start-up or a college student passionate about technology-focused problem solving? We’re inviting visionaries from anywhere to register and join LS&Co. employees on October 31st for our 2022 Hackathon, to generate innovative and scalable business solutions that combine the best of digital, retail and commercial capabilities.
Open for the first time to the public since its launch in 2017, LS&Co.’s Denim Decoded will focus on developing solutions to create amazing shopping experiences for our fans around the world. It’s all about helping shoppers find their next favorite pair of Levi’s jeans, wherever and however they love to shop.
“It’s been an ambition for quite some time to make this an event open to participants outside of our LS&Co. talent community, from diverse fields and backgrounds of expertise,” shared Kartik Kumar, vice president of global brand and commercial technology. “We’re no strangers to partnership when it comes to innovation at LS&Co. We are one of San Francisco’s original start-ups and our first invention, the Levi’s® 501®, was the result of a collaboration between our founder, Levi Strauss, and tailor Jacob Davis, who patented their invention and put our company on the map. They were out to offer a solution to the question of workwear durability – and that obsession with innovative, consumer-centric problem-solving is why we’re at the forefront of our industry today.”
