Levi Strauss & Co. has been recognized by Gallup with a Great Workplace Award, joining 40 other leading companies being celebrated for amazing workplace cultures and providing rewarding jobs.
The Gallup Great Workplace Award winners consist of organizations devoted to cultivating a culture of engagement and business performance. According to Gallup, these organizations “know that the secret to unlocking unmatched performance excellence and exceptionally high engagement is investing in their people.”
Worldwide, just 15 percent of employees are engaged, according to Gallup. The engagement level among Gallup Great Workplace Award winners is 70 percent. “On average, these elite organizations have 17.5 engaged employees for every one actively disengaged employee — nearly seven times the rate in the U.S. and more than 21 times the global average,” Gallup states.
